The MAMP is an organization of more than 300 mortgage brokers/bankers and professional affiliate members. It was founded in 1993 to protect the interest of the consumers and the mortgage broker industry by advocating, regulating and certifying the highest standards in professionalism, ethics and education.
Members of the Missouri Association of Mortgage Professionals pledge to abide by the state and federal laws, association bylaws, and national code of ethics to ensure professional interaction with customers.
The MAMP continues to support legislation making licensing and education for all loan originators mandatory for the State of Missouri.
MISSOURI ASSOCIATION OF MORTGAGE PROFESSIONALS CODE OF ETHICS
The members of the Missouri Association of Mortgage Professionals, believing that the interests of the public and private sector are best served through the voluntary observance of ethical standards of practice, hereby subscribe to the following Code of Ethics.
HONESTY & INTEGRITY
MAMP members shall conduct business in a manner reflecting honesty, honor, and integrity.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
MAMP members shall conduct their business activities in a professional manner.
HONESTY IN ADVERTISING
MAMP members shall endeavor to be accurate in all advertisements and solicitations.
CONFIDENTIALITY
MAMP members shall avoid unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
MAMP members shall conduct their business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
DISCLOSURE OF FINANCIAL INTERESTS
MAMP members shall disclose any equity or financial interest they may have in the collateral being offered to secure a loan.
